Television Production Company Seeks Individuals Suffering from Body Dysmorphic Disorder

Pie Town Productions, a television production company based in Los Angeles, CA, is currently developing a documentary presentation about individuals suffering from Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

The goal of their program is to bring more awareness and understanding to an often misunderstood and misdiagnosed disorder. They are seeking BDD sufferers willing to share their story for taping. Interested individuals should be between 18-30 years of age, undergoing treatment or willing to do so, and located anywhere in the U.S. (they will travel to them). The company would also like to include interviews with the patient’s therapist.

For those participating in the program, there is financial compensation to assist in the costs for treatment.

Pie Town Productions was founded in 1995 and has produced over 3,200 episodes of programming in a variety of formats. Their client list includes Discovery, TLC, Paramount, A&E, and others. To see more about their programming, click here.
