Brain Device OK’d for OCD Treatment

The FDA recently approved use of an implanted brain device for patients with severe obsessive compulsive disorder.

The device is Medtronic’s Reclaim deep-brain stimulation (DBS) device. It will be used as a last-resort therapy to treat patients who have failed multiple different therapies for OCD.
